Meh! Not Impressed

So, I needed to use this tool to remove a garden hose fitting that would not unscrew from the hose bib even after I torched it. Plan B was to carefully cut the hose fitting into segments, and then pry the segments apart and remove the fitting. So, I used an abrasive cut off disc. Now, mind you, the hose fitting is brass and I'm being careful not to cut into the hose bid threads. This tool would just repeatedly shut off while I'm trying to cut a groove in the hose fitting. I finally gave up on it, and went and got my corded Dremel, and finished the job. I guess this tool is ok if you are working with thin balsa wood, but it is not a tool me. I will happily stick with my corded Dremel.

Better than I would have thought...

I have a few rotary tools, but thought it would be nice to have a smaller cordless tool. Wasn't sure what to except being it's "off brand", but it's real nice. Well made, looks cool and modern, great fit and finish. Sadly it was dead, wouldn't work. Odd. Plugged it in for a bit and it charged just fine.Inserted a bit with no issue, pretty much like every rotary tool. Has the usual small wrench and there is a shaft lock button on the tool. Would be nice if it was tooless, but not a big deal. Powered the tool up and I am pretty impressed with it's power. Had a grinding bit in, tried it on wood and I could not stop it, that surprised me. Has 5 different speeds, so a good range.Comes with a real nice carrying or storage case, I like it. There are all kinds of bits inside, just about any type of bit you could need. Of course you get a USB charging cord as well.It does have a built in battery, could be good or bad, depending on your opinion. It's okay with me if it lasts. Will update this if anything changes.Only other very slight negative, I wish the power button was in a little better location, like closer to my fingers, so I could power it on and off easier. That is just a small thing.I like it, would gladly recommend.

Awesome rechargeable rotary tool

I have several of the high end Dremels as well as the off brand ones as well. I now reach for this one when I need to use one. It recharges with a USB c which is very convenient. It comes with a case and multiple tips. While it kind of has a plastic look, it absolutely feels solid in your hands. It has a little more heft that I expected but it's a welcomed difference. It has the typical quick change system of pressing s button down while using a small wrench to loosen the chuck, slide the tool in, and retighren the chuck whole holding the lock button down.It has 5 different speeds that is denoted by numbers at the base of the tool. My only wish is that this has the ability to control the rpms completely instead of having the 5 present speeds. This is a little pricey but after using it for a bit, I feel it is completely worth the price.

As good as a dremel but without the cord!

The dremel is about the most used tool in my arsenal. Need something shaved down, cut, removed, sanded. It does it all. However it does have a huge flaw. Its tied to a cord. up until now most battery powered ones (including dremels own) were really weak. Any type of friction would case the rotor to stop. This however keeps on trucking just like its corded counterpart.Pros:-As strong as a corded tool (mostly)-Affordable price at much cheaper than name brand-Lots of tools included-Nice case to hold it in-Easy USB-C charging-Tons of torque.-Small and easy to holdCons:-None so farAll in all this is now my goto rotary tool for all my needs. Not being tethered to a cord really opens up more use now. Its taken quite a beating in the short amount of time, but it keeps on trucking without a hiccup!

Handy little tool

I have a few wired rotary tools from well known companies. But these tools tend to be heavy and awkward to use for certain jobs. I saw this cordless tool and decided to try it out to see if it fit my needs for medium to light weight projects. It certainly didn’t let me down. It was easy to maneuver and get into tight spots. I’ve mostly used the grinding accessories. I haven’t had the opportunity to try out the buffing ones. But so far it’s performed well. The battery lasts a long time. As others have pointed out, the battery is permanently part of the tool and can’t be swapped out. But since the internal battery lasts quite a while before re-charging is required, this is a minor disadvantage. All things considered , I’m quite pleased with the rotary tool’s performance.
