ATuMan MH1 Multifunctional Headlamp Kit

This is a great headlamp! I love that it is rechargeable, unlike the headlamp it is replacing. It needs a USB C cord to charge - I have charged it with the cord it came with and other cords I already had and they both work great. It did not come with a charging base like was pictured in the product description though. The on/off button was hard to press, but that can be good and bad. It definitely won't turn on unintentionally, but my 7 year old had a hard time turning it on the first time he tried. The multiple light modes are great. I also have really liked the motion sensor ability to change modes by simply waving my hand in front of the lamp. I also am glad that it skips over the strobe modes and the red light mode and just does the ones that are most commonly used.
The fit is comfortable and the elastic has a silicone strip in the back to help keep in in place. it is also easy to adjust and is not too heavy. I used this on a recent trip out of the country where the electricity was pretty spotty - when the lights went out in our cabin this was enough for us to be able to see easily and it lit up most of the room. It was also nice to have when we left early in the morning and there were no lights - it made it easy to see what was around and made me feel more safe.
The battery life seems pretty good - I have yet to run it out completely, but did use it for about 8 hours one night before recharging it. It does have a light indicator system to show you how much is left in the battery. This is definitely a step-up from my last headlamp and it was really easy to use. I would definitely recommend.

I love this headlamp!
First of all, it is price point is less than what I paid at a big box store to buy a powerful headlamp for my sister. She lives out in the country alone and she is legally blind so I bought her a headlamp with the power of a headlight on a car (should she need it) which adjusts light strength and has strobe in case of an emergency.
That headlamp cost more than this one and has fewer features.
This lamp will actually do an SOS ?? signal on the rectangular side if it is needed in addition to the strobe lights of red flashing, white flashing and the red/white flashing.
It also has a nice feature in that you can aim the light straight ahead or tip it down towards the floor. This feature will come in handy during this storm season during which we frequently lose power and I need to be able to find my way around to light my charged up lights and fans as well as to go room to room.
The strap is highly adjustable. I have it high on top of my messy curls only because anything tight around my forehead gives me a headache.
But the band is highly adjustable and would fit quite a range of head sizes from small to large.
The only feature that I could not get to work was the waving to change the lights. However; I had the same problem with an older headlamp and a friend of mine took it, waved it through all the lights and said see, it works fine. Therefore; I am going to presume that it is just me again.
The buttons to change the lights are easily reachable for me, even when the light is around my head and I have no trouble using them this way.
This is a great headlamp at a good price point and would make a wonderful gift as well as a nice headlamp for yourself.
